We Need A WriteNow! Logo

Can anyone out there help me with a logo? By "help me" I mean, of course, design one for me and not charge me anything. Simple is good and web-safe colors are a must. I've played with a couple of the "free logo" websites but I got scared off them when I got a warning from Firefox that I was using a dangerous site. Visions of viruses, trojans and worms. Worms?

I'd like a scalable (that's a word, right?) logo that we can use for the site and (in case you're still reading) on anything that we publish and even letterheads and such if we ever have them.

OK, maybe you can't do this, but how about your cousin, husband, neighbor?

I like the logo. It fits so perfectly that I didn't notice it at first. Yes, that is a compliment. At least I think it is. It didn't jar my awareness like something that doesn't fit. It belongs immediately. Thanks Ransom!
