When I think of the people who have come in and out of my life there is only one person who has always stood by me, believed in me, loved me, taught me, laughed with me and cried with me. My Hero....... My Mother.

She is more that a mother she has held a standard of living life that I can only hope to live up to. She doesn't just watch life. She LIVES IT!! The people around her can feel it. She is filled with love, kindness,understanding, truth, warmth and giving.

Mom has a swiss cheese brain now. She used to have a Masters degree in Library Science and taught grade school during my growing up years. Now she doesn't know where she is, what day it is or what she had for lunch. Her view of reality is skewed from traditional reality, yet there are glimmers of logic, slightly off center, almost like a child but with remote adult knowledge to color it.
