Contests, Deadlines and Winners

One goal at WriteNow is to get you writing more and to improve your writing skills. Posting your work here is one way to do that and we encourage your posts. That's really what WriteNow is all about.

Another good way is for you to enter writing contests, either themed or open. Don't reject themed contests out of hand. It's a good way to open your mind to other challenges.

Please tell us about any writing contests that you come across. Give us the basics as you understand them and a link to the contest site. If you've entered the sponsor's contests before, tell us what your experience was. The same if you've previously entered a contest that someone else posts.

And PLEEEASE ... if you win or are otherwise acknowledged, post it here. You're entitled to brag a little. WriteNow is about all of us, so let us share.
